Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Nebraska AFP is to provide a local forum to promote the development and exchange of concepts and techniques for improving the professional and ethical management of treasury functions. Our mission will be accomplished through education, communication, recognition and representation of the interests of Nebraska AFP members and the treasury management profession.


OUR OBJECTIVES

  1. The Nebraska AFP will increase the awareness of management of the treasury function.
  2. The Nebraska AFP will develop a thorough understanding of the professional and vocational characteristics and needs of its members.
  3. The Nebraska AFP will provide educational opportunities to members through programs designed to address their current needs in their performance of their duties and enhancement of their careers.
  4. The Nebraska AFP shall be proactive with respect to government legislation and regulation, banking standards and industry issues as they affect members' interests.
  5. The mission and objectives of the association will be achieved through the Board of Directors and volunteer standing committees. The Nebraska AFP will prepare for the progression and succession of board and committee members to preserve the continuity of leadership within the association.
  6. The Nebraska AFP will maintain financial stability.
  7. The Nebraska AFP recognizes and endorses the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Code of Conduct. (Section IV)
